Welcome to Great Oaks Glamping in the South Downs
Great Oaks Glamping sits in the heart of the South Downs National Park, surrounded by rolling hills, open skies and the kind of countryside that makes you instantly slow down and breathe a bit deeper.

We’re Rachel and George - a husband and wife team - and this little corner of Hampshire is our home. We feel incredibly lucky to live here, and even luckier to be able to share it with our guests.
What you can expect when you stay.
When we set up Great Oaks, we wanted it to feel relaxed, friendly and unpretentious. From the moment you arrive, we want you to feel at home. Whether it’s showing you around the farm to meet the animals, helping you settle into your bell tent, serving up one of our locally sourced breakfast hampers, or just being around with a friendly smile if you need anything - we’re here to make your stay relaxed, personal and special.

Our nine-acre glamping field feels spacious and private, perfect for romantic breaks, family adventures or simply stepping away from the busy world to breathe in country air. The South Downs’ walking trails are right on your doorstep, and there’s so much wild beauty to explore close by.

We’re very much hands-on and around if you need us - happy to chat, recommend a favourite local pub, or simply point you in the direction of the best sunset spot. At the same time, we completely respect your space and want you to feel like you’ve got your own peaceful escape.

Above all, we want everyone who stays with us to feel genuinely welcome. We love meeting new people and it means a lot to us when guests leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and already planning their return.
