Exclusive, luxury stays surrounded by nature

Great Oaks Glamping is a small, family-run glampsite set on our working farm just outside the Hampshire village of Liss, close to the pretty market town of Petersfield and the South Downs. With just a handful of bell tents, we keep things small and personal, creating a relaxed and welcoming place where families can slow down, enjoy the countryside and properly switch off.

If you're looking for a space to slow down, time outdoors, and a comfortable place to land at the end of the day - you're in the right place! No rush, no pressure - just fresh air, open views and evenings spent around the fire.

Why Choose Glamping in the South Downs

Why choose glamping near Petersfield in the South Downs?

Glamping in the South Downs is a chance to properly slow down and enjoy the landscape.

Rolling hills, open skies and miles of footpaths make this part of the country ideal for walking, exploring and letting children roam a little more freely. Days are spent outdoors, visiting the animals, with plenty of space to wander and unwind.

As evening falls, the pace shifts again. With little light pollution, nights here are darker and quieter than most people are used to, making it a lovely place for stargazing on clear nights. Sitting by the fire and looking up at the stars has become one of those simple moments many guests mention long after their stay.

Staying here means being fully immersed in the South Downs National Park - from birdsong in the morning to dark skies overhead at night - and feeling part of the natural rhythm of the countryside rather than just passing through it.
